Hello, My name is Mia Cranwell. I am with the Flat Top 4H Club and this is my 4th year in 4H. This year my projects include Market Swine, Market Sheep, Show Poultry and Shooting Sports. For the Jr. Livestock Auction I will be selling my Market Pig, Zeus. Much to my disappointment I will not be able to attend the auction this year. During the auction I will be in Pueblo at the 4H State Shooting Championship. I have qualified in ten events between air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle and .22 pistol. I was a State Champion last year and I hope to repeat that this year. I am very grateful that my good friend, Makinley Long, will be showing my pig in the auction.
In addition I will also have two private treaty market lambs available for purchase. If you are interested you can contact me at [email protected]. I would like to say thank you to Casey's Pond and Debbie Williams for buying my 2021 Market Pig. Also thank you to all the supporters of this year's Routt County Fair. I have loved being in 4H these past years and I look forward to all it will bring me in the future. My name is Kacie Davis and this is my first year in 4-H. I am 8 years old. I am a 5th generation cattle rancher in the Yampa Valley, and a member of the Flat Top 4-H Club. The projects I chose to complete this year are shooting sports, breeding goats, and market pigs. I would like to introduce “Socks” and “Valentino”, my market pigs! I have worked hard all year to keep them healthy and happy, and they have grown so fast! My goal is to produce a high-quality product at the end of my project. I truly appreciate the community’s support of our 4-H program and hope you will consider my invitation to meet my pigs and I at the 2022 Routt County Fair! The Jr. Livestock Sale is Saturday, August 20th at 4:30, following the free Bobby Robinson Memorial BBQ from 3:00-5:00. Can’t wait to see you there!
