My name is Mia Cranwell. I am with the Flat Top 4-H Club and this is my 5th year in 4-H. This year my projects include Market Swine, Market Sheep and Shooting Sports. For the 2023 Jr. Livestock Auction I will be selling one of my market pigs.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the auction in person this year. During the auction I will be in Pueblo competing at the 4H State Shooting Championship. I have qualified in ten events between air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle and .22 pistol. I was a State Champion in three individual events and on two State Champion teams last year and I hope to repeat or even do better this year. Luckily, I have made so many good friends in 4-H that I will have one of them showing my pig in the auction. I would like to thank Lucky 8 for buying my 2022 Market Swine which gave me the opportunity to continue showing this year. Hi, my name is Braylee Estes. I am 13 years old and this is my 5th year showing pigs through Ranch House 4-H Club. I enjoy 4-H because it teaches you a lot of responsibility!
I am showing 2 market swine this year at the Routt County Fair. This year is a little different because I chose to show a different breed of pig. This year, I purchased a Duroc and a Hampshire to show. They are both cool pigs. My Duroc's name is Annie and my Hampshire's name is Oakley. I am part of the Handy Lads and Lassies 4-H club and I am the reporter for my club. This year I am showing market pig for the first time.
For market pigs I have 2 pigs, 1 barrow and 1 gilt, and their names are Batman and Robin. I am so excited to be able to show a market animal for the first time and to have the amazing experience with my pigs. In the process of raising my pigs I have learned a lot, like how to properly take care of them and seeing their different personalities. I love how much they like being in their pool and how they run around all excited when I start to fill it up. I am looking forward to seeing you all at the Junior Livestock Sale this year! Hello, My name is Wyatt Gillespie. This is my 2nd year in 4-H and I am with the Elk River Wranglers. This year I decided to try something completely new to me and raise Market Swine. I have been working really hard with Potato and Chip and plan on selling Potato at the Routt County Fair. I am learning so much about pigs and what it takes to properly care for them and show them. They are really cool critters and make me smile every single day.

This is my first year in 4-H and I'm raising two hogs this year in the Ranch House Club. Their names are Gizmo and Garbanzo.

My name is Kacie Davis and this is my second year in 4-H. I am 9 years old. I am a 5th generation cattle rancher in the Yampa Valley, and am a member of the Flat Top 4-H Club.
I would like to thank Alpine Bank for purchasing my 2022 market swine and for their ongoing support of Routt County 4-H! The projects I chose to complete this year are shooting sports, breeding goats, market pigs, and market beef. This year I will be selling my homegrown market steers “Trigger” & “Bolt”, and my market pigs “Charlotte” & “Wilbur” at the 109th annual Routt County Fair! Hope to see you there! Here we are in 2023. Where has the time gone?! 16 years growing and learning. I joined Ranch House 4-H Club in 2016. I have been the Vice President since 2019. Many wonderful times we all have had as well as some interesting ones. I have met some amazing people over these years. In 2021 I added FFA into my world. I'm the treasurer, and I'm growing my agricultural love. I first started with the chicken program, moving slowly over the years up to 2 Market beef- Skipper and Diesel, 2 Market swine- Whiskey and Rango as well as doing a metal welding project that will be the entry gate sign at our house.

Hi! My name is Cassidy Wall and I have been an active member of 4H for 6 years. I have tried many different projects, but market swine is my favorite. I graduated from Hayden High School this past May and I plan to study ultrasound at Laramie County Community College. I am 6th generation in Routt county and I am proud to represent.
