Hi my name is Larhae Whaley! I show cattle and lambs at the Routt County Fair. I also am involved in leather craft and entomology, both of which made it to the State Fair. In February my steer died so I am showing a breeding heifer. Her name is Cat. I am proud of her because Dad and I picked out an AI bull to breed my cows to, and she is the result. It’s fun to raise quality livestock. My lambs are fun too. This year I am selling a market lamb which I raised myself out of my own ewes. I have two breeding ewes that I am taking to the fair as well. I am so excited to see you at the Routt County Sale and BBQ.
I would like to Thank Tyler Knott for buying my 2016 4-H steer last year. Thank you Sir, for supporting your local Routt County youth.
Hi, my name is Grace Olinger. I am a member of the Handy Lads and Lassies 4-H Club. My 4-H projects include breeding and market sheep, which I raise from a small flock of my own ewes. In addition, I raise market hogs and participate in vet science, leathercraft, and livestock judging. The projects I enjoy most are definitely my pig and sheep projects and livestock judging. These projects in particular are pushing me in the direction of a future career in agriculture.
This year I am excited to show my livestock at the Routt County Fair. Hope to see you there!
I would also like to thank Lucky 8 Ranch for purchasing my 2016 market hog. Your support of me and Routt County 4-H is greatly appreciated! See you at the Routt County Fair!

Hello my name is Rachel Rolando. I am an independent 4-H member. I have been involved in 4-H since I was ten years old. In the past years I have taken dog, horse, horse breeding, market swine, livestock judging, vet science, market goat, breeding goat and new this year breeding sheep and market lamb. My favorite project hands down has to be goats. I have a small herd of show goats. Nothing has taught me more in the 17 years that I've been alive than raising livestock. There's terrible days and then there's great days!
I am looking forward to this year's Routt County Fair and hope to see everyone there!!!
I want to thank Bear Creek Animal Hospital and Master Petroleum for purchasing my market goat in 2016.
