Hi! My name is Gracie Day and I will be a senior at Hayden High School this year. I’m apart of the Ranch House 4-H club and I’ve been showing market beef for 8 years now. Along with 4-H, I’m also the Student Council and National Honors Society President, and play volleyball and basketball at HHS. Having the opportunity to be apart of 4-H has been one of my biggest blessings. Throughout my years as a 4-H member I have developed characteristics such as: leadership and responsibility. I have also been able to find my true passion for raising cattle and being apart of the agricultural industry. I would like to thank all the past buyers who continually support 4-H and especially Yampa Valley Electric Association for purchasing my 2019 steer. You truly are a huge aspect of 4-H and I hope your dedication to the program never goes unnoticed.
Hello! My name is Myka Cranwell and these are my market pigs, Chip and Pug. I am having so much fun with my first year in 4H. Besides Market Swine I also raise Show Chickens and compete in the Shooting Sports programs. I am having so much fun learning about the swine project and practicing with my pigs this summer. I love it when they run around crazy! I am a member of the Flat Top 4-H Club and I am the club historian. I plan on being in 4H for a long time to come and any money I earn from the auction will help me with future projects. Thank you so much for your support of the Routt County 4H program and auction.

Hi there! My name is Jaycee May, I recently graduated from steamboat springs high school. I plan to attend Laramie County Community College this fall to get a degree in rangeland management and agricultural business. I have been in 4-H for 6 years. I have raised market swine all 6 years and have done market lambs, vet science, livestock judging, junior leaders, and council. I’m currently a member of south side 4-H club where I am secretary of the club. On top of that I am holding a position on 4-H council and am an active member of Jr Leaders. I have raised and will be showing two hogs this year at the fair, Ron and Grizz. Ron is my all black hog, he has had an amazing personality from the start! He loves water, and to be brushed down. Griz is a beast and I’m hoping to take him to Colorado state fair. I would like to thank everyone who supports 4-H and especially Lucky 8 Ranch for purchasing my 2019 market Hog. All of us 4-H kids are so grateful to have such amazing people in our lives!
